What is your Christmas style? Rustic

Does the sight of tin buckets filled with pine cones and twigs give you that warm, fuzzy feeling? Is a burlap table-runner something you use or, would like to use? Is a quiet walk in the woods something that inspires you? You may be someone who leans towards a rustic style of holiday decor.

The typical elements of a rustic style include the use of mason jars, tin, plaid, burlap and lots of greens or twigs.  If asked to define the rustic style I would say that it is simple and understated. This style of holiday decor easily moves from Fall to Christmas and then onto Winter making it a great choice for those wanting a budget-friendly style to carry them through many seasons and holidays.

i saved these photos from Pinterest because they so clearly show the basic elements of the style;
